Baba Yaga's House
Baba Yaga’s House
Deep in the forests of Eastern Europe, there is a witch who lives by the name of Baba Yaga. She is no ordinary witch, for rather than flying on a broom, she travels by mortar and carries a pestle, supernaturally commanding the plants and wildlife around her. She lives in a hut that stands on chicken legs, which keeps her hidden by moving around the forest and enables her to watch all that enter her territory. She is said to bring both good and bad upon those that cross her path, sometimes acting as a maternal earthly character, and other times a angry sorceress. Many visit Baba Yaga for her great wisdom, but must be prepared to earn her advice through commitment and tasks she devises for them.
